You don't have to seal Qboard® construction boards any more. The XPS core is 100% waterproof. You only need to seal the butt joints.
Boards must be at least 20mm thick and can be fixed with a ‘dot and dab’ method with the addition of Qboard® metal dowels.
Floor tiles should measure at least 10 x 10 cm and be at least 7 mm thick.
Do you like to be warm? Electric underfloor heating systems can be laid directly onto the construction boards with filler. Good heat insulation prevents the heat from escaping downwards. Qboard® is temperature-resistant up to 75°C.
Qboard® basiq with a thickness of 50 or 80 mm is best suited for making furniture.

For inward curves, we recommend gluing Qboard® qreative with the slit side facing up. Fill the gaps with tile adhesive and then use this adhesive to help attach reinforcement weave.

If building seats in wet areas (e.g. showers), the entire seat must be covered with a suitable liquid composite seal before tiling.
Qboard® liquid line shower elements can be shortened to any length. However, at least 40mm must be left around the drain
The height adjustable feet allow you to easily level out unevenness of up to 10 cm in raw concrete or screed during installation.

If you design your recesses around the tile size they will be much easier to achieve.
For more stability, you can additionally fix a discreet stanchion onto the upper end of the partition wall.
Use self-tapping metal-plate screws for metal studwork and standard universal screws for timber studwork.
